Go read SaS. There's a reason it's my current hyperfixation. I can understand dropping it in the first 13 chapters cause you think it's hetslop but I'm here to tell you it gets SO MUCH BETTER after that. My bf said "this is literally just a battle shonen for transfems" and I hate that he's right. I really don't want to say any more as it's my opinion that it's best experienced blind when the girl that cracked your egg gives you her copies and tells you to read them cause it's peak. Reading online isn't a bad way to experience it, but the print copies definitely have little touch ups to be more consistent with later books. and they just plain make them better. I marathoned this (at the time) 300k word fic in a weekend on my breaks at work and it actually murdered me by the end, get to ch 39 and you will understand my pain.
